Here is the activity in the Denver Real Estate market up to December 2010.
· The number of actives in November are still up by nearly 14% from this time last year. Towards the end of 2009, we definitely saw a tilt into a Seller’s market as inventory was down but that has changed back
· Sales are up for the first time in 7 months! We saw an increase of 4.03% from this time last year, and an increase of 26.17% from the previous month.
· Prices did drop slightly in December but over the course of the year, they have improved from 2009
· It is still taking longer to sell homes? Days on market have risen nearly 5% from last year. However, there are a more short sales on the market from this time last year which take longer to close, and remain ‘active’ even with contracts submitted. I would imagine this figure will increase into 2011 because of this.
