Birds of prey are soaring in the skies of Colorado. From the Rocky Mountains to Highlands Ranch, you can spot raptors flying overhead.
Join the Highlands Ranch Metro District for Raptors of the Rockies, a special program presented by Wild Wings on Friday, May 6. Attend the hour-long program that features birds of prey found in the Rocky Mountain region. Participants will explore the tools and adaptations these raptors use to be successful in the wild. The interactive program will feature live birds – a hawk, an owl and falcon – all species found in Colorado.
Raptors of the Rockies will be held from 6:30 until 7:30 p.m. at Plum Creek Academy, 9340 Commerce Center Street in Littleton. To register, visit www.highlandsranch.org and click on Parks and Open Space, or visit the Metro District’s Parks, Recreation & Open Space Service Center at 3280 Redstone Park Circle in Highlands Ranch.
