Well if the Halloween fairy didn’t come and take a much candy as you would have hoped, here is a solution …
Do your weight and your teeth a favor while helping the troops overseas at the same time – participate in the Halloween Candy Buyback program this year.
How does the program work?
Participating area dentists are paying up to $1 per pound of Halloween candy at scheduled events. The dentists will then send the candy to Operation Gratitude or other soldier support groups. These groups send the candy to our troops who are deployed overseas.
Not only will you be setting a great example for your children by teaching them the importance of giving back, you’ll also be sparing the oral health of your entire family.
Your thighs will thank you later as well.
The kids will even earn a little extra spending money for their good deed.
